Give Me Pity!

 

Is anybody gonna talk about this movie?...Anyone? This entire movie is an extended Check it Out with Dr. Steve Brule episode on Adult Swim. Which is why I loved it! This movie looked like it would be so fun to put together. You can tell Sophie Von Haselberg had a blast playing that unhinged role. I would too! Honestly, if I were to pick a movie part to play, I would pick some character who keeps diving into the depths of her own insanity. This movie was kind of unsettling at parts, but like I said, the same sort of unsettling you would see from the minds of Tim and Eric. Actually, this Sissy St. Claire could totally be a character on the Steve Brule show hahaha. I love movies where there is the unsettling horror element and then the next scene is like a jammin dance scene. This movie is definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea. I could see myself showing my friends this movie and them giving me the classic "wtf...why Sam" look. I am ok with that so maybe next I see them I will force them to watch it! Overall, this was just a fun little movie that I happen to stumble upon on Shudder and last night just felt like the night to watch it. I actually had a little voice in my head saying "Give me Pity....Give me Pity...". That's normal right?
