Dudeeee fucking Jemmaaaa....we've all had that one friend in the group who we are just like "shut the fuck upppp" or wondering why the fuck she doin what she doin. BUT what I thought was gonna be a totally cheesy movie turned out to be one of my favorite movies! I think this one left such an imprint because I watched it during quarantine, and it was already a scary time? I truly appreciate movies that have a unique cinematic take and the whole zoom meeting approach was so cool to me! Sure, the dialogue was a bit cheesy and the concept of a whole isn't really original, but I just loved it ok?? Can we also talk about how the friend group still didn't take Haley seriously even when the spirit literally pulled her chair back like 10 feet? What kind of friends are these?? I guess it's sort of a weird in between of wanting to take it seriously and wanting to not get scared shitless? Idk...I think people either love or hate this movie. Its also super short (I think less than an hour?) ugh I love the way they did the end of the movie too! The whole 10 minutes left in the meeting and the way they did the credits. Super cleaver. The jump scares weren't actually too bad either! Like some of them legit caught me off guard and I thought this was going to be a 100% predictable movie. I love when a movie proves me wrong!
