Incantation

Damnnnnnn...this was such a good movie. This might be one of my favorites now. I remember really liking it the first time, but after watching it again and doing some research (watching like a 10-minute YouTube video) I picked up on a lot more. What makes this movie so unique is the creativity and "audience engagement?" Movies that make you feel like oh fuck what if 1% of that movie was true while going to the bathroom at 1 am. I also really liked the whole idea of the opposite Mother Buddha deity and instead of accepting blessings you are allowing curses to be spread. I really love Asian horror because I feel like the stories are more creative than a lot of the American films. Don't get me wrong I love American horror, but it's a bit predictable. Asian horror really goes out of the box and is so refreshing from the typical Americana haunted rural house with a nuclear white family? This movie had so many good creepy scenes and really must have gotten people who suffer from tropophobia? I am literally too lazy to look that word up. The fear of many holes aligned together. Ugh when Ronan was pealing back Dodo's shirttttttt. I think that's how you spell their names? This is one of the best horror films I have seen in general but especially on Netflix.

Rotten Tomatoes rating: 4 out of 5 stars (I'm going to stop including the number of votes because it looks dumb sometimes)

My rating: 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
