1. Hottie alert for both Scarlett and Pap 2. It sends me soaring every time Papillion calls himself "Le Pap" lollllll but I guess he is a pretty boy who does whatever he wants. Also wtf Scarlett. You are unhinged, girl. I know you are just trying to follow in your daddy's footsteps and find the Harry Potter stone, but DAMN you are getting people killed! Also you are straight up taking ancient artifacts off the wall and setting them on fire! I mean yes, you did uncover a vital piece of evidence to help solve a mystery you've spent your entire life solving, but jeeeeeeez. I really freaking love this movie. It's found footage which I love annnnnnd has a cool story plot. I really like the aspect of you have to keep going deeper and deeper to get out and the whole reflective reality instilled in old magic. I would honestly love to visit the catacombs (or Paris in general), it's got to be such an indescribable feeling to be down there with all the bones and previous lives. I also really liked the demonic elements that were introduced the further you go down into the catacombs. They were so personable to everyone in the crew. I imagine that is what hell is if one exists. There will be no lake of fire or man with a pitchfork. I believe if hell exists, it is a very personal torment. Your deepest scars will be torn open and the most horrible memories that still linger in the corners of your consciousness will be tangibly reanimated. I mean...that's what I believe at least. I also like how in the end they just crawl out of the manhole and that one dude in Pap's crew is just traumatized AF. Dude just goes home...I assume lol.
