Attachment

I kept thinking this movie was called THE Attachment...it's not. It's just Attachment. I recommended to one of my long-distance besties that we watch this movie (especially because it's queer horror) and I think she liked it, but wanted it to be scarier. This movie is more psychological, than the typical horror people think of when it comes to scary movies. There were some good possession scenes and some weird joint movements and stuff, but nothing crazy. I think the story was pretty good though! There's the over-bearing mother figure, but then you later find out that she is so over-bearing because she is freaking trying to keep a demon from taking over her daughter. No biggie or anything. I reallllly like that scene where the blonde one (Myra? I totally forgot everyone's names), but the peanuts in the dinner trying to sabotage her making it looking like she was being sabotageddddd. That was pretty shady. For some reason, I didn't enjoy this movie as much as I did the first time. I still liked it and I know movies lose their spark sometimes after watching it the first time, but idk, something was amiss for me the second time. Would I recommend this movie as a good queer horror movie pick? Absolutely! Would I recommend this movie to someone who actually wants to feel scared? Maybe not.
