Child's Play 3
Lolllll this seemed like such a random plot, but honestly, I didn't hate it. I tend to get turned off by anything military related (yes, even just military school), but this movie still had the classic Chucky elements I liked in the other Child's Play movies. First of all, Chucky is funny pretty much all the time. Like no matter what this doll is doing, it makes me chuckle. The way his little legs move and how angry his face looks usually gets me soaring at least once per movie. Also, they went straight from CP2 being in the doll factory...how long have those dolls been there? Long enough for Andy to reach puberty, I guess. Awww little Andy is so cute growing up. He's the meek awkward kid I knew he would turn out to be in the movies. I'll have to admit, I haven't seen CP3 before...I don't think I really missed much, but it was neat to see Andy a bit more grown and to see how they set up the ending. Most of the Chucky movies are setup in a way to expect a sequel and idk if this one really did. I mean I guess it's vaguely setup like CP2 where the blood is by something that could disperse it (toy factory or huge carnival fan), but not such a setup like Bride of Chucky where the baby flies out of Tif. Though this is not my favorite Chucky movie out of the series, I still found it pretty entertaining! I think the only Chucky movie I have yet to watch is Cult of Chucky (which I will probably watch very soon since it's leaving Netflix soon lol). Anyone sort of cringe when Chucky said he was going to be a "bro"?
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
My rating: 3.6 out of 5 stars...I thought it was .1 better
