The Houses October Built (2011)

Ok, I was super confused when this movie was like 30 minutes in, because nothing looked familiar, and I know I have seen this movie before. Apparently, there is the 2011 version and the 2014 version then I think THOB2. Anyways, this movie wasn't terrible, there was just nothing really scary. It was cool if anything because it was just like going through haunted houses, but I remember parts of the 2014 version that I really liked so, yeah, not sure if I have ever seen this one. I didn't remember any little girl with a porcelain face which is a pretty memorable part in the 2014 version. Now that this has all been sorted out in my brain I can proceed lol. Tbh, I can see people absolutely hating this movie, there is really no scare factor and not really any story line except touring haunted houses then going to a sketchy one where the end didn't look so great. Also incorporating a guy who worked at one of the haunted houses ending up to be cray cray and killed his whole family and like blogged about it? I didn't hate the movie, but I am prob not going to watch it again hahaha...I don't know why that made me laugh. I can totally see it as a cozy film or having a THOB marathon. That could be fun. Yeah, nothing else to really say about the film, because there isn't that much to it *shrug*
