Sinister

I think out of many of the mainstream horror movies, this one actually made my heart race the most. The jump scares from the Bughuul! The creepy ass kids and their creepy ass movies!! I'm sorry though...they should have had someone else besides Ethan Hawke though. He's too hot to be taken seriously. Also, he did not look like a dad (not sure what a dad looks like, but I couldn't get into his dad vibe). This movie has one of the creepiest soundtracks 100%...like how did they even mix some of those tracks lol. The plot was unique and it had found footage. What else do you want from a movie? Something about kids committing murder is extra creepy to me. Like when adults do it, I feel like it's just years and years of pent-up rage (or possession). When kids murder, it's much more of a crime of passion? Well...or possession lol. You know, the Bughuul has to eat too, people. Just like a the Babadook! They all gotta eat! Some eat children! Still, something tells me that all these demonic deities and monsters voted for Kamala. I'm sorry I couldn't resist throwing in something political now that the next 4+ years are looking pretty grim. That's an actual horror. Watching horror movies during this period are going to seem a lot less scary. Ugh some of the scenes in this movie really stick with you though. Like all the ways to die were so gruesome. That scene with the lawnmower scared the crap out of me when that person's face was just there!
