I wanted to like this movie so muchhhhhh. I actually really liked Unfriended, and I think dark web stuff is so freaking creepy, but this movie was just too cheesy. Sure, the first one was pretty cheesy, but the paranormal aspect worked. I really didn't like how anytime the dark web dude was like staticky any time he went in front of the screen, and I didn't really like the whole aspect of the dark web people just wanting a game night as well. Idkkkk it wasn't a terrible movie, but I liked the first one a lot more. Ok, some of the elements I didddd like about the movie...I think some of the found footage media files on the computer were pretty creepy. Like that lady in a barrel or the guy going through the window to abduct that one girl. Honestly, that was it though. It was a lot more thriller than horror. Lots more action than the first movie I feel. I will say though that I didn't expect the ending, so they did a good job with that. At first, I was like who leaves all of their passwords saved like that if they are doing super dark shit, but it made sense in the end how they wanted the laptop to be found. I guess dark web people need some fun too. I think both groups of friends from each of the Unfriended movies were just as insufferable lol. That girl who gets a phone call from her mom and does mute her mic just walks around and talks even louder lolllll omg I would just leave the call. I would also never conference call my friends...but hey, everyone has their own way of having fun. Well, I don't have that much more to say about this movie because I don't really have anything nice to say :(
