Unfriended

As cringe as this movie was, I really enjoyed it...like fully entertained the whole time. Host got so much inspiration from this! The whole technical interface in the digital world point of view does it for me! I enjoyed Host and this one just as much actually. I spend a lot of time on the computer and decent amount of time scrolling TikTok and dissociating so maybe this movie was just natural to follow?? What a dark premise too...I forgot that she pooped herself and dang, what a messed-up group of "friends". How were they even friends?? I guess a lot of secrets. Not that I'm proud to be the loser I was in high school, but I would rather be the loser than to have such an unauthentic group of people surround my life on a daily basis. Say what you want about band kids. Most of us were pretty good! I'm also terrified of computers doing weird things so yeah, some of this movie kept me on the edgeeee. Ever since I was a kid (I cannot remember if I was playing a computer game, and I got scared when something popped on the screen or heard something in my dad's computer workshop) I would always be afraid my computer was going to do something on its own lolllll. I feel like I've already said this, but this movie is just a fun, fast-paced, entertaining horror flick. The cheese factor was balanced out by some of the messed-up stuff in the movie.
