The Fly

If possibly giving birth to a giant maggot isn't enough of a reason to support abortion being a federal right idk what is...but in all seriousness, wtf. We are in 2024 and discussing this? I won't get into it but let's just say that we should have Geena Davis as the poster child for this issue (specifically pictured in the hospital room dream sequence). Also, I cannot be the only one who thinks the Jeff Goldblum already looked like a fly. The teleportation machine probably just thought he had to be part fly analyzed him as such lolllll. I watched someone's review on this movie, and they went into the whole self-isolation aspect of it all. There was also the theme of work being one's whole identity. I think Jeff Goldblum did a pretty good a job at being a nerdy, yet cocky guy. It's like he is almost the shy nerdy type but then he pulls up with this big D energy. I mean he is building a teleportation machine. My D would be considerable size at that point. Geena Davis, girl, you really tried with him. I would be out as soon as I saw a man start doing gymnastics in the dark in the middle of the night. I really don't have time for that nonsense see yaaaaaaa. But hey! That big D energy was doing it for her! The body horror for this time was soooo good! I def prefer small chunks of lighter body horror compared to the Terrifier movies. All in all, I really liked this movie for being somewhat on the cheesy side.

Rotten Tomatoes rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars. It was a good movie!

My rating: 4 out of 5 stars :)
