Ok, so much was going on in this movie. I mean a lot goes on in the first movie, but this one wraps in a lot of the stuff from the first movie which was already a lot! I loved that they started the movie with Pinhead as a human being transformed into a cenobite. That was pretty cool. Also, what are the odds that Kirsty gets a doctor who is OBSESSED with cenobites...like the dude's house is littered with fan girl cenobite stuff. I mean dude is obsessed enough he probably found out about her case and made himself involved in some way. I mean dude was obsessed enough to keep that little girl around because she was so good at puzzles! This movie is so comical in some ways too (although it def deserves a nomination for having creepy aspects). The fact that Kirsty put on a little skin suit of her beloved step mommy was kind of funny to me. Maybe I'm just thinking of how her skin just completely separated from her and was intact enough to be a suit. I think this movie felt like it had so much going on because of the Leviathan Lord being introduced as well? The cenobite realm really got some attention in this movie compared to the last. Although it was sort of sad seeing the cenobites getting turned into humans then killed (again?), I'm a sucker for the final girl trope (in this case final girls). I'M GLAD JULIA FINALLY GOT OUT OF FRANK'S TRANCE. Ugh I mean she wasn't great to begin with, but her coupled with Frank was so gross. When I first watched this, I thought she was going to possibly join forces with him. So glad she came to her senses and didn't just obey her horniness lollll. I mean neither of them are bad looking! Just terrible people (which is a turn off). Hmm trying to think of any last things to mention about this movie...oh, I guess the ending was pretty cool too with the wooden post sprouting from the ground with various cenobite parts! All in all, I think this sequel was a bit campier than the original, but still a good watch!
