I was so excited to watch this movie and had to keep delaying it, so I extra anticipation to watch it. Ok, I liked mosttttt of the stories except one was a little too freaky for me. Let's go through them really quickly. First off, we have this Diet Phantasma drink that keeps appearing throughout the movie. There is really no explanation to it except that when test subjects try it, they explode, bones break, gets their face latched on to...etc. It was just a fun way to show special effects, and it worked in my opinion. I liked the first segment with the whole 6 titted mom gathering her little babies and the whole "coochie coochie cooooo" bit. It was just freaking weird. The next segment was okay with the whole phone call turns person possessed and takes out eyeballs bit. A little gruesome with the eyeballs being plucked out but, hey, it is a horror movie. The next skit was kind of funny. The candy dish takes people into a candy factory that uses body parts to make candy was a fun little bit. Ok, I think that brings us to the weird pedophile dude in the video rental place. The at least really heavily implied that the dude was a pedophile as well as someone who loves to flay skin. The last sketch was sort of a fun one where the dad wants to do a haunted house with his son because it is tradition. The dad picked up this weird record which made brought in someeeee supernatural force into the backyard haunted house. So, yeah, spirit did its thing and people died when they thought it was a small neighborhood event sort of ideal. I think I like Beyond more than this one, but I also didn't hate this one at all. I like the concept of dedicating a bunch of skits to just center around Halloween...because it's the best holiday of the year, duh!

My rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars (I really liked it but wouldn't say I absolutely love it. Still one of the better V/H/S movies!)
