It's always the lady who has to tell the straight, white dude that there are dangers in this world, and you can't trust everything! I'm sorry, but if I saw remote cabin and the rooms had bunk beds?? No...the real horror would be sharing a room with randos. That was an immediate red flag. She did try to warn him! In this situation, I would have just pulled over, locked the car and took a nap. But hey, this is horror movie logic! Ok, so this movie was basically a movie adaptation of the book Tender is the Flesh (great book by the way). I wish they went into the history a bit more. Like how did they get into this business or who are they or, I don't know, they have a strong presence so I wanted to know more of their background. Also, how did the guy escape the first time?? He just showed up! Unless I missed that (which I could have completely done so). Let's talk about the baby scene next. Just kidding. We are not talking about the baby scene. I've seen worse in other movies, but still, anything with a baby is brutal (my mind went to Mother! immediately). It was also brutal how the chick was just shot up with like 100 ccs of sperm (at least that's what I thought it was??) as soon as she awoke from her capture. That is so horrific to think about. I liked the movie ok as a whole, but I think I just liked certain scenes more rather than the overall movie. The ending was great and def hit the creep factor. The girls looked crispy and finger-lickin good! If the FBI is reading this I am not a cannibal (but would try a small square if prepared correctly and it was legal).
