The Descent

Juno. That's all you have to say. She is the horror movie. Having that kind of a friend is the horror. She's not even a friend I guess. Like how many things can she possibly do that are annoyingly immoral?? First, she has an affair with her husband and father of her daughter THEN she invites her to explore an unmarked cave that she said had already been done before and was safe??? Not ONLY was it just hella unsafe to begin with for not being a well-explored cave, but the cave creatures just added that extra "really Juno...". Then the audacity to be like "you weren't the ONLY ONE who lost something in the accident!" or whatever she said. I'll have to admit, when I first watched this movie I did not like that it was a creature feature. The real life elements and the fact that caving accidents happen all the time already made it a legit horror without the creatures. I almost feel like it made it kind of cheesy with the teethy goblins! But when I watched it again and expected the creatures it made it more enjoyable? Plus, it was a good element since it was an undiscovered cave. Who knows what kind of shit is down there! The absolute horror would be getting a jacked up leg like that one girl, in a cave that no one knows about, with cave creatures, and Juno. Last thing I will say is that Juno had it comin...

Prime rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars (I think...I don't want to look it up again.)
