Why did they have to make that little kid the cringiest character lolll like was making him a little rapper necessary?? And wtf the dad left his whole ass family for a barista he met at Starbucks?? What do you mean these aren't even the real grandparents?? So many wtfs in this movie. One of the biggest wtfs being why nana is double fisting cookies and making that round of Yahtzee was the most intense event to exist in the 21st centaury. With all this being said, I liked the film! I'm a sucker for found footage (check)...I'm also a sucker for weird old people horror (check)...I love love love bizarre behavior (triple check). These old people did a great job at being downright creepy af. One of the most chilling scenes is when the kids walk into the barn and see pop pop just chilling there deep throating a gun barrel! Grandma def takes the cake when it comes to creepy behavior. She's just sundowning guyssss. It happens to the best of us when we get older. I did like the plot twist though (good job M. Night). I was not expecting that these people had murdered the actual grandparents and had escaped the mental institution they were working at (or volunteering at I can't remember). They just wanted to kill some kids, guys. They just wanted to have a litttttle fun I guess?? I mean the kids showed them in the end. Those kids took them DOWN (but not without the little boy getting poo poo smeared all over his face).
