Scream 3

You know what...I actually like this one. I love that they got Jay + Silent Bob AND Carrie Fisher to be extras in this film. Such a meta movie. This Scream takes place when Stab 3 is in production and here are the major things that happen in this installment. First, Cotton and his girlfriend are stabbed by Ghostface pretty much right off the bat. The killer in this case is looking for Syd (surprise, surprise). We see Gale Weathers teaching a class as a policeman is wanting to talk to her about the Cotton case. That leads her to the set of Stab 3 where she sees Dewey (who is technical advisor) and pretty soon we are introduced to the crew who are playing characters from the last movies (and dying off as well). The one thing standing out about the murders occurring this time is that pictures of Syd's mom are left at the scenes. So... someone is pretty obsessed with her mom (yet again). Like a classic Scream movie, Ghostface goes after a bunch of the acting crew and kills them off one by one and we see that Ghostface has a voice changer and could literally be anyone. We also find out from the producer of Stab 3 that Syd's mom was in the acting world and had been sexually assaulted by some of the big wigs in Hollywood. The last showdown in the movie happens at a replica of the house from the first movie. Gale is eventually taken to the basement by Ghostface and is saved. Ghostface then goes after Syd, and it is revealed that his is the director of Stab 3 and also her brotherRrRrR?!? Crazy. He freaking hates that his mom was taken away from him and super jealous that Syd was still able to have her as a mom even for the short time she did. He, of course, ends up getting killed and Syd, the policeman, Dewey, and Gale (Dewey and Gale giving engagement a shot!) live happily ever after hahahaha for now.
