A littttttle cheesy but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had to look up the main actor because I was like damn did they put a birthmark on someone who doesn't have one, but she actually does! That made me feel better because I was like come onnnn she is still super pretty and there is no way she is completely hiding herself from the world. I can see how having a facial birthmark would make someone extremely self-conscious no matter who pretty they are though. I thought the premise of this was fun and sort of relatable (since I have an Instagram I barely post on anymore). I wanna know how that lady survived on that island for as long as she did without fresh water though...like she could have found food I guess but where did she get water from being surrounded by the ocean? Also, I do not feel bad that her boyfriend died. Not that anyone deserves to die just because they are a piece of trash, but his death was not that mourned over. I did like that he at least looked for his girlfriend (even though he was on the visit to invade her space and convince her to get back with him). I was NOT expecting the main girl to fricken have nonconsensual sex with him though. That was creepy...but fits her character? Like she was just exuding wanting to live someone else's life so bad through the film, hence, taking over someone's whole social media account. I wonder if people really use technology to pretend they are someone else by laying their face over theirs's like a filter. I mean I imagine so? There are lots of crazy people in this world. I know that there is sequel to this movie so I will be reviewing that later on. Overall, I think this is a fun watch but there wasn't too much depth. Not bad though!

Shudder rating: 4 out of 5 skulls (?...ok, I'm surprised at the high rating. Am I just having a high brow moment?)

My rating: 3.5 out of 5 skulls (I said it wasn't bad!)
