Last of my sequel escapade and I don't really know what took me so long to review this one. This is one of the more iconic movies in the series since it is Jason's first appearance with his famous hockey mask. I also love that this movie is in the 3D and they were reallllly playing into that. Even from the beginning credits they were like BOOM everything is now coming out of the TV. I like this movie a bit more than the previous ones not because idk it seemed to pick up the pace a little bit. Idk how they got someone to play such an unlikable character though. Dude, Shelly is the worstttt I don't even care if that is the way you spell it. He literally even looks annoying. He not only looks like someone you want to punch but he acts like it too! Like hahah guys I'm playing dead in the closet haha...what a pick-me. Ugh then his whole attempt to get with that girl. Don't get me wrong I did feel a little bad for him in during that part, but I was also like you are literally the worst! I think they should make a whole movie just one him coming back from the dead (or he survived somehow) and he becomes the new killer of Crystal Lake. He is kind of creepy...omg I am writing this whole review on this chump. I mean other than that what is there to really elaborate in this movie. More horny teens got killed by Jason...well I guess we had the little biker game that Shelly really pissed off. Not much really happens from that either. Some deaths, yeah but I'm trying to remember if they really contributed to the story at all. I did like the couple in the beginning though. Idk, I mean that guy (even though he was gobbling down half the items in his store and didn't wash his hands after going to the bathroom) had the cutest pet rabbit and that was a nice little touch. Lol I'm surprised they didn't try to make the rabbit have some 3D effect and make him jump off the screen. I'm sad that they were the first people to go and I think Jason killed the rabbit and other rabbits too?? Well at least some rabbits but idk if all. Still...not a fan of that.

My rating: 6.7 out of 10 stars (I might get hate, but this is not one of my all-time favorite horror movie series)
